Tiny11 Builder Gets a WinUI Makeover, More

Tiny11 Builder is my go-to utility for creating de-enshittified Windows 11 installation media, and it just got even better, with a WinUI user interface makeover and numerous functional improvements.

“The completely redesigned Tiny11 Builder is out!” developer NTDEV tweeted. “With a stunning (at least for me) new UI, Tiny11 Builder aims to be the de facto standard for creating lightweight, safe and efficient Windows images … [It’s] massively more reliable, with features like auto-resume, custom configurations, and leveraging the full power of modern PCs in order to speed up the process.”

The new version of the app–which may or may not be called Tiny11 Builder WinUI–is open source, as before, and it now supports a Turbo mode that batches feature and capability removals and uses more CPU resources and temporary disk space for faster image creation. There’s also a custom build option in addition to the Tiny11 and Tiny11 Core builds, and you can save custom build configurations to use them later.

I’ve just started experimenting with this new version, but you can learn more and download the new Tiny11 Builder on GitHub.
