Apple TV+ Coming This November for Only $4.99 a Month

Apple is today revealing the availability and pricing details for its video streaming service Apple TV+. The company first launched Apple TV+ back in March of this year, and it’s been releasing trailers for its new shows over the last few weeks.

Today, Apple announced that Apple TV+ will be launching in November for $4.99 a month. The first shows will be available on November 1st. If you buy an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac, you will also get one year of Apple TV+ subscription for free.

The service is launching in more than 100 countries at once. Tim Cook also premiered the trailer for Steven Knight’s See starring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard at the keynote.

Apple TV+ will come with a small number of shows to start with. Apple’s original TV shows are just getting started, though the company is reportedly investing $6 billion for its original shows which will help expand its catalog.

The company previously announced a number of original content, including Oprah’s Toxic Labor and another multi-part story focusing on mental health, Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories, The Morning Show starring Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and Steve Carell, Alena Smith’s Dickinson featuring Hailee Steinfeld, Ronald D. Moore’s For All Mankind, Steven Knight’s See starring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard, Kumail Nanjiani’s Little America, Sesame Street’s Helpsters (for kids), Snoopy in Space, and JJ Abrams and Sara Bareilles’ Little Voice.
