Google is making Gemini Live with camera and screen sharing free for all Android users. The feature recently became available for all Google Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 owners through the Gemini mobile app, and Google has now decided to expand it broadly.
“We’ve been hearing great feedback on Gemini Live with camera and screen share, so we decided to bring it to more people. Starting today and over the coming weeks, we’re rolling it out to all Android users with the Gemini app,” Google posted on X today.

When using Gemini Live, Android users will be able to share their screen or camera and have free-flowing conversations with the assistant. By analyzing what’s on the screen or what it detects from the camera, Gemini can provide information about what it sees and assist users across various tasks, from organizing their personal space to troubleshooting appliances.
When using screen sharing, Gemini can also act as a personal shopping assistant and compare products in real time. “You can even show Gemini specific items and ask what would compliment them using your camera to show your own wardrobe,” Google previously explained.
While Gemini Live is also available on the Google Gemini app for iOS, that app doesn’t support camera and screen sharing yet. Google has yet to say when these features will become available on iOS. Microsoft’s Copilot app has a similar “Copilot Vision” feature, but it currently requires a Copilot Pro subscription on mobile and is only available in the US.
