DuckDuckGo's Duck.ai Now Supports Model Switching

DuckDuckGo launched Duck.ai. its anonymous AI chatbot service, back in March after an initial beta release the previous June. But it got a quite new update today that makes it even more useful. You can now switch between available AI chatbots midstream in a conversation.

“Duck.ai currently includes OpenAI’s GPT-4o mini, Meta’s Llama 3.3 70B, Anthropic’s Claude 3 Haiku, and Mistral Small 3, plus beta access to OpenAI’s o3-mini reasoning model,” DuckDuckGo told me. “Each model has its own strengths and levels of moderation. With this new feature–much requested by our users–you can compare how the models respond to the same query, or switch if you’re unhappy with the first model you chose.”

To try the model switching feature, open Duck.ai in your web browser and start a conversation. You can then pick a new model at any time using the “Switch model” button at the top of the chat.

Interesting.
