Apple Sends Invites for iPhone 14 Event on September 7

Apple has just sent invites for a September 7 event where the company is expected to unveil its new iPhone 14 family. In addition to the event being streamed live, there will also be an in-person event at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino.

This year, Apple is expected to announce four iPhone 14 models: two 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch “standard” iPhone 14 models, as well as two iPhone 14 Pro models available in the same screen sizes. If the regular iPhone 14 should keep last year’s design and A15 chip, the iPhone 14 Pro family is expected to feature a brand new A16 chip, a new pill-shaped design to hide the front sensors, as well as a larger camera bump on the back.

In addition to these its new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, Apple is also expected to unveil several new Apple Watch Models: According to previous reports, we should see an Apple Watch Series 8, a larger “rugged” version of it with a bigger battery, as well as a new Apple Watch SE. Apple may also use this event to launch a new version of its AirPods Pro.

Apple still has many other new products in the pipeline this fall including new iPads and Macs with Apple Silicon. The company usually holds a separate event in October, where we could see new M2-powered iPad Pros and a new-entry level iPad with a USB-C port. Yesterday, the company also confirmed that iPadOS 16 will launch after the release of iOS 16.
