Opera Brings Aria AI to its Browser on iPhone

Opera announced this morning that its Aria AI feature is now available in its web browser for the iPhone. The firm had previously added Aria to Opera One for desktop and Opera on Android.

“Aria, our new browser AI, is now available for all users of the Opera browser for iOS, which makes it accessible across all major platforms,” Opera’s Kseniia Sycheva writes in the announcement post. “As a product of our collaboration with OpenAI, Aria offers you a cutting-edge generative AI service for free. This service is enhanced by our own Composer architecture, granting you access to real-time web results. Seamlessly integrated into the browser, Aria introduces an innovative paradigm for the future of web browsing.”

Opera also previously revealed that Aria reached over 1 million users by the end of July, with top use cases being information retrieval, text and code generation, and product inquiries. The firm describes this feature as “entirely user controlled,” meaning that users have to opt in before Aria is activated.

Aside from its new Aria AI feature, Opera for iOS is fast and secure, highly personalized, and includes a built-in ad blocker. And it offers unique functionality like a Fast Action Button for quick access to the full range of navigation tools and My Flow, which allows users to store photos, articles, recipes, travel ideas, and links for easy access later.
