As it did last year, Microsoft is taking its Build Tour on the road, offering those who couldn’t attend its Build 2016 developer conference a chance to catch up on what’s new.
“Each Build Tour event is a free, one-day, developer-focused deep-dive into the best of the Build 2016 conference,” Microsoft explains. “The morning highlights what’s new for developers across the Microsoft technology stack: platform advances, developer tool improvements, and new back-end services that help make your experiences more personal and scalable. In the afternoon, we’ll dig deeper into UWP, XAML, the desktop and WP Silverlight bridges, Xamarin, DevOps for app devs, and more.”
I’m not sure if this is permanent, but the 2016 rendition of Build Tour is visiting far fewer cities than did last year’s, when Microsoft educated developers at over 20 locations. (And none of them are in The USA.)
