The new Xbox Game Pass Family plan Microsoft recently started testing in Colombia and Ireland is now official. The new plan is branded Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family, and it’s priced at €21,99 per month in Ireland and 49,900 COP in Colombia.

The official store listing is now live on Microsoft’s website, and gamers in Ireland and Colombia can already upgrade to the new plan. Currently, 30 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will convert to 18 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family.

This new plan will let subscribers invite up to four friends and family members, and there’s no requirement to live under the same roof. Each member will get access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with their own Xbox account and profile. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is priced at €12,99 in Europe, and it provides access to Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, EA Play, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Live Gold.

“Currently we are piloting this plan in Colombia and the Republic of Ireland. Future countries/regions might be added in the next months,” Microsoft said in a FAQ about its new Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family Plan.

This new Family plan is great value overall, though there are some limitations to be aware of: You can only invite a maximum of eight people to your Family plan per year, and group members can only join a group up to two times per year. Moreover, only the primary account holder can share their Game Pass benefits with other accounts on their console via Home Sharing.
