Microsoft Reveals Xbox Games With Gold for May 2023

Microsoft has just revealed the two Games with Gold titles that will be offered to Xbox Live Gold subscribers in May 2023. The first game that will be free to claim between May 1 to 31 is Star Wars Episode I Racer.
This is an HD port of the original racing game that was released right when Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace landed in theaters. While the gameplay and graphics didn’t age really well, the pod-racing game is a nice homage to one of the highlights of a pretty bland Star Wars movie (remember Jar Jar Binks?).

The second Games with Gold title coming in May is Hoa, a puzzle platformer featuring hand-painted art. It will be free to claim between May 16 and June 15. Overall, these two games represent $30 in value.
If you haven’t done it yet, we remind you that you have until Sunday, April 30 to claim Out of Space: Couch Edition (https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/out-of-space-couch-edition/9pk76x93s6gz), the first Games with Gold title for April. As usual, Games with Gold titles are free to claim for a limited time but they require an active Xbox Live Gold subscription to be played on Xbox consoles.
