Microsoft Announces Xbox Partner Preview Event on November 20

Xbox Partner Preview event November 20

Microsoft has announced today an upcoming Xbox Partner Preview broadcast on November 20, which will put the spotlight on upcoming games from third-party developers. Microsoft listed IO Interactive, Tencent, and THQ Nordic among the developers that will be featured, adding that all games shown during the event will support Xbox Play Anywhere.

“During Xbox Partner Preview, we’ll show you an exciting first look at content coming to 007 First Light, an electrifying extended gameplay trailer for the upcoming dark fantasy epic Tides of Annihilation, and a fresh look at Reanimal, the new horror adventure from the creator of Little Nightmares, among other great games heading to Xbox consoles, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Game Pass,” the post on Xbox Wire reads.

The last Xbox broadcast was during Tokyo Game Show in September, and that event mostly focused on games from Microsoft’s partners in Asia. Even though Xbox console sales have fallen off a cliff during this console generation, these events are important to show that developers around the world are still supporting the Xbox ecosystem.

The Xbox brand suffered when high-profile third-party games like Baldur’s Gate 3 or Black Myth Wukong arrived late on Xbox. However, a blockbuster game like 007 First Light supporting Xbox Play Anywhere is a great sign of support for the ecosystem.

This Xbox Partner Preview event will kick off at 10AM PT/ 1PM ET on November 20, and it will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. Only YouTube will offer a 4K livestream at 60fps, however.
