Microsoft Flight Simulator has just received the free World Update VIII content update, which introduces more detailed landscapes in Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, and Andorra. Developer Asobo Studios enhanced famous architectural monuments such as the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, as well as the Aqueduct of Segovia.
In addition to new high-resolution geographic improvements and aerial imagery in the Iberian Peninsula, the World Update VIII also introduces 99 new custom points of interest including four handcrafted airports. Players will also get to try four new bush trips, four new discovery flights, and five brand new landing challenges.

This free content update can be downloaded in Microsoft Flight Simulator’s in-game marketplace, alongside previous content updates. Back in February, the game’s Wolrd Update VII invited players to explore stunning Australian locations such as the Great Barrier Reef and Mount Wellington.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is free to play with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can also access it anywhere via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The game receives free content updates on a regular basis, and it remains one of the most impressive-looking games you can play on Xbox Series X|S consoles today.
