Google’s Pixel Phones Are Launching in a New Pink Color This Year

Google is less than a week from the official launch of its next-gen Pixel phones, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. If you have been following the news lately, you are probably aware most of the Pixel 3 has already been leaked. Google has either been leaking the Pixel 3 itself to create some hype around the device, or it’s been terrible at controlling leaks this year.

Either way, there’s another new Pixel 3 leak. This time, we are getting our first ever look at what seems like a new colorway for the Pixel line: a pink color, known as Sand. What you see above is the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in Sand, leaked first by the folks at Android Headlines.

Google was originally expected to introduce three colors of the Pixel 3: Black, White, and Mint. It seems like the company may not launch the Mint variant at launch, and instead introduce the new Sand variant. It’s possible the Mint variant will be made available later, and the Pixel 3 could only launch in Sand, White, and Black at launch. We shall see.

Pixel 3’s Sand variant doesn’t look entirely different from the other variants. It has the same two-tone color scheme, with an orange power button which is a little weird for a pink phone. Either way, the Pixel 3 launches officially on October 9, stay tuned for more.
