Lenovo today announced new third-generation versions of its ThinkPad X13, ThinkPad X13 Yoga, and ThinkPad L laptops.

“Following the unveiling of the latest ThinkPad X1 and all-new Z series at CES, and more recently the innovative ThinkPad X13s and updated workhorse T series, refreshing ThinkPad X series and L series completes one of the most comprehensive business laptop portfolios available,” Lenovo noted of the releases. “Devised to offer customers the best choice, ThinkPad is built leveraging the core tenets of design, innovation, and quality.”

These new laptops offer Dolby Voice, Full HD webcams, Wi-Fi 6E, optional 5G sub62 and 4G LTE3 wireless WAN, and, on select models, battery options. They also make use of Post-Consumer Content (PCC) recycled plastic materials in speaker enclosures, battery brackets, and AC adaptors, and arrive in 90 percent recycled and/or sustainable packaging. Each can be optioned with up to Windows 11 Pro, 12th Gen Intel Core processors, and Intel Iris Xe graphics. The ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 can be optionally configured with AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 series processors with Radeon 600M graphics, while the ThinkPad L can be outfitted with AMD Ryzen PRO 5000 series processors.

Unique features include:

ThinkPad X13 Gen 3

ThinkPad X13 Yoga and X13 Gen 3 feature user-facing speakers with enhanced Dolby Audio enabled sound and optional Dolby Vision low power display capabilities with Low Blue Light technology. The Intel models are certified for Intel Evo. Each is available in Thunder Black or a new Storm Grey color and each come with 16:10 aspect ratio displays, including an optional 500 nit 13.3-inch panel with PrivacyGuard.

ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 3

ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 is available with a choice of 41 and 54.7 watt-hour battery options, the latter of which adds 40 percent more battery life.

ThinkPad L14 Gen 3

ThinkPad L14 and L15 Gen 3 have been redesigned to be thinner and lighter and come in a new Thunder Black color with narrower display bezels. They are also available with a choice of 41 and 54.7 watt-hour battery options.

The ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 starts at $1179 and will be available in June. The ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 3 starts at $1369 and will be available in June. And the ThinkPad L Gen 3 starts at $859 (13-inch), $929 (14-inch), and $929 (15-inch), and each will be available in May.

Now if Lenovo would just simplify their website. It is such a mess to navigate and use. Like someone wants to try every web page idea and trick all on one site.

      Indeed.

And low end component options shouldn't be available for X and T series, i.e. 8GB RAM, 45% color gamut screen, no backlit keyboard, no fingerprint reader, 45 watt adapter.

Most buyers won't aware on above.
