Microsoft’s Band 2 Shows Up Online

Early next month, Microsoft will be holding an event in New York where they will be talking about new devices. Expected at this event are the Surface Pro 4, a pair of new Lumias and also the Band 2.

The Band, which is Microsoft’s take on a fitness device, was initially well received and was sold out for several weeks after launch. But, one of the primary complaints about the device is the flat display and thankfully, it looks like Band 2 will remedy this flaw.

The folks over at Microsoftinsider.es have managed to find a few pictures of the upcoming device and as you can see, it has a rounded display and a similar button layout to the existing Band. On the bottom of the band are also sensors that are likely for measuring your heart rate.

The rest of the device looks like the current Band with a clasp at the bottom that is released by a small button on the side. The materials of the device also look like the ones used in the current device that have rubbery texture to them and that may be aluminum next to the display.

We won’t have to wait too much longer to learn more about this device as Microsoft’s press event is scheduled for two weeks from this upcoming Tuesday.
