Amazon’s live TV experience on Fire TV already supports other live TV providers such as Haystack TV, Peacock, Plex, and more. These integrations allow users to easily discover live channels on the Home screen, the ‘Live’ tab, the Guide, and Search. Alexa on Fire TV can also search for channels and start streaming them via simple voice commands.

To get started with the new DirecTV integration on Fire TV, subscribers need to download the DirecTV app from the Amazon App Store and just log into their accounts. Managing live TV integrations on Fire TV can also be done by going to the ‘Live’ tab, scrolling down to the ‘Options’ row at the bottom, and selecting ‘Live TV sources’.
