<p>Store app "HP Smart" does what I need with my low end HP all-in-one. (Every time an update hits the fast ring, I have to keep telling HP that no I don't want the full software load for the printer, and it eventually gives up bugging me (that's a sign that the next update is coming.)</p><p><br></p><p>HP Smart is a store app…you might want check that it loads into Win 10 S (I can't). It tells me ink levels, runs reports, orders ink (I use so little ink that there's little reason to shop around), etc.</p>
<p>The personal digital assistant is only personal if it's with you everywhere. By withdrawing from phone Microsoft took itself out of people's most personal device ever. I get that mobile was costing Microsoft money but it lost money for years on Xbox. Microsoft took a strategic a strategic decision to be in console gaming. They could have decided that phone was too critical for the ecosystem not to be there.</p>
