Store app "HP Smart" does what I need with my low end HP all-in-one. (Every time an update hits the fast ring, I have to keep telling HP that no I don't want the full software load for the printer, and it eventually gives up bugging me (that's a sign that the next update is coming.)

HP Smart is a store might want check that it loads into Win 10 S (I can't). It tells me ink levels, runs reports, orders ink (I use so little ink that there's little reason to shop around), etc.

The personal digital assistant is only personal if it's with you everywhere. By withdrawing from phone Microsoft took itself out of people's most personal device ever. I get that mobile was costing Microsoft money but it lost money for years on Xbox. Microsoft took a strategic a strategic decision to be in console gaming. They could have decided that phone was too critical for the ecosystem not to be there.
