Enterprise pick of the week: Windows 365 – things to know ahead of next week
Microsoft is making Windows 365 generally available next week on Aug. 2. That’s also when the company plans to go public with the pricing of its various Win365 SKUs (in addition to the $31/user/month one that already leaked). What else do admins need to know? You should get ready to manage Win365 because it will be available to your users via a self-servicing option unless you block it.
Enterprise pick of the week No. 2: PowerApp price cuts are coming!
October 1st, Microsoft will chop PowerApps pricing in half. Power Platform pricing and licensing is a giant mess and very costly. Microsoft is taking a big step toward fixing it with these coming cuts.
Beer pick of the week: One of the weirdest beers I’ve had to date – Drekker Chonk
Fruited sours are a category of craft beer that are having a moment. Drekker in Fargo makes a series of these called “Chonk.” They are thick and creamy, brewed with lactose sugar. And the Chonk Mango and Marshmallow tasted to me a lot like marshmallows in Lucky Charms. Sweet and very perfumey from the mango. Did I like it? Kind of. But all I kept saying while drinking it was THIS IS REALLY WEIRD.
