Rum and a premade mix works in a pinch, but it only takes a couple more minutes to make it with your own ingredients. And there’s no comparison when it comes to flavor.
Put everything in a blender and mix until well blended. Most blenders will work but you’ll get the best results with a high-end blender like Vitamix.
Pour into glasses, top with a splash of dark rum and garnish with a maraschino cherry. Serve with a straw.
