I read that as Surface Pro 6! I think a comma is required. :-)

I originally bought the Surface Pro 3, and it quickly drove me to toss my laptop. It completely replaced my need for a traditional laptop. My wife followed suit by getting the Surface Pro 4 and ditched her laptop. I didn't feel the SP4 was enough of an improvement to warrant giving up my SP3. And, to be honest, I didn't even feel the 2017 SP was enough of an upgrade. The choice, though, was made for me because someone accidentally dropped a heavy object on my backpack, which stressed the screen enough to crack it. Unfortunately, the cost to fix the screen was literally the cost of buying a refurbished SP3, so I decided to take advantage of a sale and get the new SP. I still don't think it was that much of an improvement over the SP3, having it now for about 4 months. But the SP tablets are easily the best mobile devices I've ever had. I'll never go back to a laptop as long as these are around. There's just nothing that a Surface Book or Surface Laptop can do that makes them more attractive to me as a value than the Surface Pro. As a keyboardist & drummer I do a lot of live music, so having a tablet for throwing charts up is crucial. And, it easily handles the editing software for my keyboard controller and synth modules. On top of that, I also do a lot of live theater, so being able to play the music tracks and sound effects from the tablet is fantastic.

What's your battery life like ith the SPro 2017? Reason I'm asking is I'm considering a SPro 2017, but I had a Surface Pro 4 for about a week and returned it. This was maybe 6 months or so after SP4 intro. Try as I might, couldn't get decent battery life out of it. Did everything I could research, patches, turned everything off, registry settings, etc... But from 80% battery life, sitting in bed just browsing using Edge and occasional YouTube, my estimated battery life was less than 2 hours.

Less than 2 hours is certainly a sign of something wrong with the device or user error. I have the top-end SP3 (i7, 8 GB, 512 GB) and I can get 4+ hours of browsing. I can get 6+ hours of Office (Word, Powerpoint). When on battery, I keep screen brightness on the lower side. And I use Firefox, but I think Edge is more energy efficient.

I find the bezel perfectly fine. The Pro 2017 is my first Surface to replace a 15" laptop and Ipad Minni . As the Surface is a more cumbersome tablet device (in tablet mode) ... and so in tablet form I can appreciate the bezel for finger placement when handling the device. I think putting my fingers on an active screen would be more irritating. This from daily use between laptop and tablet mode, and not just sporadic use as noted in the video.
