After Microsoft shipped a new Windows 11 Canary build yesterday, the company is wrapping up the week with the Windows 11 Insider build 23541 for Dev Channel testers. However, this is mostly a bug fixing update with no new features.
In this build, Microsoft addressed an issue where dragging app icons in the taskbar sometimes caused File Explorer to crash. The company also fixed a bug preventing users from pasting a folder path to mount into the dialog when creating a new Dev Drive.

As for known issues in this build, the Windows Insider team acknowledged that Dev Channel testers in some regions are currently unable to access Windows Copilot, but this should be fixed in a future flight. Moreover, the rich thumbnail previews for cloud files in the Recommended section of the Start Menu may also disappear for some Insiders running this build.
That’s it for the most notable changes in the Windows 11 Insider build 23541. A new Microsoft Store update has also started rolling out to all Insiders, bringing a new Game Pass page where users can learn more about Game Pass subscriptions and easily jump on board. Microsoft previously introduced a new Game Pass widget to keep track of game releases and more.
