Microsoft is wrapping up the week with the second flight for Windows Insiders on the Beta Channel. Indeed, the just-released Windows 11 build 22635.3276 will gradually bring the new Copilot actions in the taskbar to Beta Channel testers who opted in to receive early access to new features.
Earlier this week, the Beta build 22635.3276 introduced a new hover experience for the Copilot icon, where hovering the mouse cursor over the icon opens the Copilot pane. With today’s build, Microsoft is now bringing the Copilot actions on the taskbar that were first introduced on the Canary and Dev Channels in February.

With this new experience, Microsoft is making the Copilot icon at the right side of the system tray update dynamically when you copy text, and hovering the mouse cursor over it will surface helpful actions. After copying some text, the suggested actions that show up when hovering the mouse over the Copilot icon include sending the text to a chat conversation and asking the AI assistant to explain or summarize it. Dragging an image over the Copilot icon will also open a chat window where the image can be dropped for analysis.
That’s pretty much the only new feature rolling out today to Beta Channel testers who turned on the Windows Update toggle to get the latest updates as soon they are available. Today’s build 22635.3276 also includes minor fixes for Nearby Sharing and Windows Search that will roll out gradually to all Insiders on the Beta Channel.
