In Windows 8.1, Microsoft provided a handy way to electronically upgrade from Windows 8.1 Core to Windows 8.1 Pro. This capability is still present in Windows 10 Home. But it’s in a completely different place.
Here’s how to find it.

Open Settings (WINKEY + I) and navigate to Update & Security, Activation.
Here, select “Go to Store.” Windows Store launches and navigates to a page that is otherwise hidden. (That is, you can’t find this option by launching Store and searching.)
To upgrade, just select the Buy button (which reads “$99.99” in the US, the same price as the Windows 8.1 Core to Pro upgrade).
Voila.
