Google is making its affordable AI Plus plan available in all markets where its AI plans are already available. Following its launch in Indonesia in early September and an expansion to over 70 markets a month later, Google AI Plus is coming to the US and 34 other new countries today.

In the US, Google AI Plus is available at just $3.99/month for the first two months for new subscribers. After that period, the price will go up to $7.99/month. This is the same price as OpenAI’s cheaper ChatGPT Go subscription, which became available worldwide nearly two weeks ago.

Google AI Plus provides expanded access to Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro in the Gemini app, Gemini access in Google apps like Gmail, Chrome, and Vids, plus research and writing assistance with more Audio Overviews in NotebookLM. For video creators, there are also 200 monthly AI credits for video generation across Google’s Flow and Whisk apps, plus AI filmmaking tools in Flow. Subscribers also get 200GB of storage in Google Drive.

It’s worth mentioning that Google AI Plus subscribers can share their benefits with up to five other family members. Moreover, existing Google One Premium 2TB subscribers will also get access to all Google AI Plus features at no additional cost over the next few days.

For people who need expanded access to Google’s AI features, the company’s AI Pro plan remains available at $20/month, matching the price of OpenAI’s ChatGPT Plus plan. Google AI Pro plan also includes 2TB of cloud storage and Google Home Premium Standard, the new home subscription that replaces Nest Aware and unlocks Gemini for Home features.
