Microsoft has just revealed the second wave of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2022. The headliner is Ubisoft’s Immortals Fenyx Rising, which will join Ghost Recon Wildlands and Far Cry 5 in the library on August 30.
Immortals Fenyx Rising is a brand new IP from Ubisoft that was released back in December 2020, and its open-world gameplay takes some inspiration from Nintendo’s critically-acclaimed Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game was released on Xbox and other platforms right after Ubisoft’s blockbuster Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion, and Xbox Game Pass will surely help it to reach a wider audience.

If Ubisoft keeps adding more of its games on Xbox Game Pass these days, Microsoft also revealed today 7 other games that will come to the library in August. One of them, Coffee Talk, is available starting today, and four other games will be available on Game Pass on their launch day later this month.

Microsoft also announced today that 16 new cloud-enabled games now support touch controls via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The list includes Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Origins, MLB The Show 22, Star Wars: Squadrons, and TMNT Shredder’s Revenge.
Last but not least, ten games including Hades, Myst, NBA 2K22, What Remains of Edith Finch, and World War Z will leave Xbox Game Pass on August 31. As usual, subscribers can enjoy up to 20% discounts on these games before they disappear from the Game Pass library at the end of the month.
