Lenovo today announced a major refresh of its ThinkPad portfolio, with new L and X1 series laptops and P series workstations.
“Whether you need mobile workstation power or scalable productivity, Lenovo is delivering the flexibility and intelligence required to thrive in the AI era,” Lenovo vice president Tom Butler says.
Here’s what’s new.

ThinkPad L13 series. The ThinkPad L13 Gen 6 and L13 2-in-1 Gen 6 offer complete redesigns with a smaller footprint, cleaner lines, and up to an 84.7 screen-to-body ratio. There’s a 5 MP/IR camera in the communication bar, brighter 400 nit display panels, a new port layout with Thunderbolt 4/USB4, HDMI 2.1, and an optional Smart Card reader, and an onboard/garaged smart pen on the 2-in-1 models. Both are available in Intel Core Ultra 200U/200H/vPro and AMD Ryzen AI PRO 300 series configurations. The ThinkPad L13 Gen 6 arrives in June and will cost $1500/1670 and up.

ThinkPad L14 and L16 series. ThinkPad L14 Gen 6 and ThinkPad L16 Gen 2 are updated with the same Intel and AMD chip choices noted above, brighter display panels, more configuration choices, and support for up to 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of SSD storage. Both arrive in June with prices starting at $1200 for the L14 and $1220 for the L16.
ThinkPad X1 Aura Edition. In addition to the initial Intel Core Ultra V-series (“Lunar Lake”) ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition configuration Lenovo shipped in late 2024, there are new ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition and ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 10 Aura Edition configurations with the latest Intel Core Ultra 200U and 200H (“Arrow Lake”) processors and Intel vPro.
