Windows 11 Insider Build 26085 Rolls Out to the Canary and Dev Channels

Windows 11

Microsoft has just released the Windows 11 build 26085 for Insiders on the Canary and Dev channels. After last week’s build 26080 brought a new unified Teams app and many other changes, Microsoft is once again shipping the same build to both channels, though the changes coming today are quite minor.

The release notes for today’s build 26085 only include two main changes. First of all, the new pointer indicator accessibility setting for low vision users introduced in the build 26052 has been temporarily disabled to fix some bugs.

Additionally, Insiders with Bluetooth LE Audio capable assistive hearing devices can now set up and manage them in a new accessibility settings page available via Settings > Accessibility > Hearing aids. The Windows Insider team said that new page is a work in progress and that its design may change over time.

With today’s build 26085, Microsoft has also fixed an issue causing shutdown and hibernation to not work as expected in the previous flight. Another bug causing the Settings app to freeze has also been addressed.

As a reminder, the Canary and Dev channels receiving the same builds is only temporary. In the meantime, Canary testers can move to the Dev channel before the Canary channel starts receiving more “advanced” builds again
