Samsung Announces Galaxy Unpacked Event on July 22

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 22 2026

Samsung is planning to reveal new foldable Galaxy devices during an Unpacked event in London on July 22. There will be a livestream on Samsung’s YouTube Channel at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET, and the company is also inviting early enthusiasts to reserve on its website to receive a $30 credit during pre-order.

In recent years, Samsung has been announcing new flagship Galaxy phones in the winter, followed by new versions of its foldable phones during the summer. Last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Watch 8 Series were announced during an Unpacked event on July 9.

While Samsung remains one of the biggest manufacturers of foldable phones along with Motorola, Google, and Chinese companies like Oppo and Honor, the company’s ultra-premium $2,899 Galaxy Z TriFold, which only launched in select countries, didn’t find an audience and was quickly discontinued. Foldable phones are still a niche market, though Apple may well shake things up later this fall with its first foldable iPhone, which is expected to be priced around $2,000.

Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event announcement just a couple of hours after Google announced its Pixel 11 event on August 12. The Pixel 11 series will likely include a foldable Pixel 11 Fold model to compete with Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold and Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone.
